Data controller

Asociación Montessori de México A.C. (AMMAC), a private civil association, is the controller of personal data. Its address is Avenida Dos 48, San Pedro de los Pinos, Benito Juárez, 03800 Ciudad de México, CDMX, México.

Legal basis for processing personal data

This notice is governed by the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (Mexico's federal law on personal data held by private parties), published in the DOF on 20-03-2025 and last reformed on 14-11-2025, and other provisions applicable to private controllers.

What information do we collect?

When you request information, enroll, make a payment, or contact us, we may process the data you provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, message, postal address, and necessary academic or administrative data. Stripe processes payment-method data; AMMAC does not store full card numbers. Optional analytics is described separately.

Purposes of processing

Required purposes are responding to requests and contact, managing enrollment and programs, processing and reconciling payments, delivering publications or services, maintaining records, providing support, and meeting legal obligations. These operations do not depend on allowing analytics. Promotional communications and Google Analytics are optional purposes and require the applicable consent.

Optional analytics and your choice

Google Analytics (GA4, measurement G-P0CNEGW276) loads only when you choose Allow analytics. Google acts as the provider and may process technical and usage information such as pages visited, date and time, browser, device, referrer, and approximate location.

Your choice is stored in browser local storage under ammac-analytics-consent-v1. You may decline, revoke, or allow it again at any time through Privacy preferences in the site footer. Declining or revoking does not limit programs, forms, payments, or contact. Revocation blocks later events and attempts to remove first-party GA cookies, but it is not retroactive regarding processing already performed.

AMMAC does not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, messages, postal addresses, order identifiers, or access tokens to GA4.

When do we share information?

We may share strictly necessary data with providers acting for AMMAC, such as Stripe for payments and Google for analytics only after consent, and with authorities when legally required.

Providers must process data for specific purposes and under applicable privacy and security measures.

We do not sell personal data. Any additional transfer will follow applicable law and, where required, the corresponding consent.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

Changes or updates to this notice will be published at this same URL: https://certificacionmontessori.com/en/privacy/. The visible last-updated date identifies the current version.

ARCO rights, revocation, and limitation

You may request access, rectification, cancellation, or objection (ARCO rights), revoke consent, or limit use of your data by sending your request to admin@certificacionmontessori.com or filing it at Avenida Dos 48, San Pedro de los Pinos, Benito Juárez, 03800 Ciudad de México, CDMX, México. State your name and a contact method, documents proving identity or representation when applicable, a clear description of the right you wish to exercise, and data or details that help locate the information. For rectification, identify the requested changes and attach supporting documentation. AMMAC will communicate its decision within no more than 20 days after receipt and, if granted, will implement it within the following 15 days. Each period may be extended once for an equal period when justified.
