Legal basis for the processing of personal data

Articles 6, Section A, subsections II and III, and 16, second paragraph, of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States; and Articles 3 (Section XXXIII), 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 48, 49, 51, 52, and 86 of the Ley General de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de Sujetos Obligados (LGPDPPSO, Mexico's general law on the protection of personal data held by regulated entities);

What information do we collect?

Use of Information

The information collected through the Site is used to provide and improve our services, as well as to carry out the following activities. Providing information about products and services: the information collected is used to send you information about products and services, with the option to unsubscribe from this service at any time. Your experience on the Site is also personalized according to your interests and preferences. Marketing communications: if you have subscribed to our mailing list or otherwise given your consent, the information collected is used to send marketing and promotional communications. You are always offered the option to opt out of receiving these communications. When do we share information?

Entities belonging to the Asociación Montessori de México A.C. (AMMAC): the information collected may be shared with entities belonging to AMMAC in order to provide services and improve the user experience. The Asociación Montessori shares information with third parties only in the following circumstances. With our service providers: we may share information with third parties that provide services to us, such as payment processors (for example, Stripe, for online payments of enrollment fees and publications) and analytics service providers.

Note: all third parties with whom we share information are required to comply with applicable data privacy and security laws. We do not allow our service providers to use your personal information for their own purposes, and we only allow them to process your personal information for specific purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

For legal purposes: we may share information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with the law or to protect our rights or those of third parties. In the event of a merger or acquisition: if we sell or acquire a company or assets, we may share information with the buyer or seller.

This privacy notice may be modified or updated from time to time. Exercising your ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Objection to the use of your personal data)

You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, what we use it for, and the conditions under which we use it (Access). You also have the right to request the correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete (Rectification); to request that we delete it from our records or databases when you consider that it is not being used appropriately (Cancellation); and to object to the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Objection). These are known as the ARCO rights under Mexican data protection law. To exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection (ARCO rights), you may visit the offices of the Asociación Montessori at Av. Dos 48, San Pedro de los Pinos, Benito Juárez, 03800 Mexico City, Mexico. The decision reached will be communicated to you within a maximum of 30 business days from the date the request was received so that, if it is granted, it can be carried out within the following fifteen business days after the response is communicated. You may revoke any consent you have given us for the processing of your personal data. However, please bear in mind that we will not be able to grant every request or end the processing immediately in all cases, since a legal obligation may require us to continue processing your personal data. You should also consider that, for certain purposes, revoking your consent will mean that we can no longer provide the online service you requested, or that your relationship with us will come to an end.
