Roxana Muñoz

Roxana Muñoz Guevara holds a bachelor's degree in Preschool Education from the Universidad Femenina de México, with further studies in Special Education, Applied Psychomotricity, and Child Psychology. She is a Montessori Guide for Elementary I and II (6-12), trained at the Centro de Desarrollo y Comunicación, with additional formation under Dr. Cato Hanrath, a student of Maria Montessori.

Since 1997 she has presided over the Asociación Montessori de México A.C. (AMMAC), the Montessori Association of Mexico, where she coordinates the Professional Montessori Guide Diploma Courses and teaches Philosophical Anthropology, Montessori Philosophy, and Montessori Materials. She is currently Director General of the Primary School and of the Centro Educativo Montessori Kalpilli, as well as a trainer of Montessori Guides throughout Mexico and abroad.

Leadership in the Montessori Community

Since 1997, Roxana has led the Asociación Montessori de México A.C., consolidating a far-reaching educational and community project. Her work has strengthened the training of Montessori Guides and the dialogue among schools, families, and institutions committed to a humanistic education.

Academic Contributions

Within the professional diploma courses, Roxana coordinates the academic program and teaches foundational subjects such as Philosophical Anthropology, Montessori Philosophy, and Montessori Materials. Her teaching practice integrates theoretical foundations, observation of child development, and a rigorous reading of Maria Montessori's pedagogy.

Trainer and Speaker

As Director General of the Primary School and of the Centro Educativo Montessori Kalpilli, Roxana maintains a living connection with everyday school practice. This experience allows her to accompany teachers and school communities from a perspective that is concrete, current, and deeply rooted in the reality of the classroom.

Commitment to Educational Excellence

Her work as a trainer extends across Mexico and abroad, sharing a vision faithful to the Montessori method and to the integral development of childhood. In every training space, Roxana holds one central conviction: to educate with depth, respect, and love so that every child can unfold their full potential.
